3/4" shackle (7/8" pin) has a working load capacity of 14,000 lbs and meet Fed. Spec. RR-C-271D and ASTM A153 standards. Compare to the Chinese brand that are not certified and only have a 9,000 lb working load limit or those made of less expensive Carbon Steel and have a 10,000 lb working load limit.
